A PortaGlory is a premium, portable, personal home glory hole that installs in any vertical opening (doorways, hallways, shower stalls, two trees, …) without using any permanent hardware. It can be removed when not in use and stored discreetly.
When you purchase a PortaGlory, you receive the glory hole fabric panel, 2 heavy-duty tension rods, and an awesome carrying case. It is pre-assembled and ready to use.
PortaGlory is also the business. We design and sell a series of PortaGlory home glory holes and related accessories. We also make the PortaWoody. We launched in 2020 and consider ourselves the leading experts in the field.
What is a portaglory?
The fabric panel is suspended in a doorway or other opening using 2 heavy-duty tension rods - one at the top of the panel, and one at the bottom. Your PortaGlory arrives pre-assembled, so you just un-roll it, squeeze the top tension rod into your opening, then squeeze the bottom rod into your opening, and BOOM!
You may need to adjust the length of your tension rods during your first install. You want them to be as tight as possible in your opening. Since our premium rods have a unique push-button adjustment system, they’ll remember your setting, so you only have to adjust them once.
Our fabric panel is non-stretch - on purpose. Once your PortaGlory is installed, nudge those rods further away from each other, so it pulls the fabric panel TAUT. This feature really sets up apart from the rest of the flimsy, floppy, misshapen imitators.

PortaGlory is handcrafted in the USA using high-quality materials and is fully customizable. Unlike many inexpensive imported versions, each PG is designed for durability, stability, comfort, and repeated use.

What if I want a red Portaglory? do you customize?
YES! Customizations are our specialty! We can customize any and every aspect of your PortaGlory:
Hole: size, shape, location, quantity
Panel size: height, width
Panel color: we can access 28 different colors of our quality fabric, and 15 different colors of trim tape.
We can write anything you want on your panel, in any color.
And, if you have a super-twisted fantasy that isn’t reflected in the products we offer, then we can work with you to design and build a solution from the ground up.
What materials do you use?
In short - the best. Our panel fabric is heavy-weight, waterproof, woven nylon canvas. It is 100% opaque for ultimate privacy, and it’s non-stretch, so it will hold its shape for years of use. It feels substantial. The carry case that comes with it is made from the same material.
We use a polyester fabric trim tape and sew it along every fabric edge. It’s more comfortable and helps keep your panel and hole in shape. It also just looks really sharp.
And, most important - the tension rods. They’re thicker and stronger than the imitators, with a unique adjustment system that remembers your setting for easier repeated installs.
The PortaWoody is the Cadillac of home glory holes. It is an all-wood, foldable glory hole that installs without the use of permanent hardware. It is an extremely custom item that is designed and built to fit perfectly in the specific opening you intend to use.
Wait - a portawoody? what’s that?
OOps - i made a mess on my portaglory. how do i clean it?
Since the canvas panel of your PortaGlory is waterproof, we recommend wiping it down with a damp rag after use. You can use a drop of dish-or clothes detergent diluted in water if you like. You can also spray your panel down with a sanitizing spray. After doing any of these, let your panel air-dry before rolling it up and storing it. Avoid harsh chemicals, such as bleach.
Why not make it easier on yourself and pick up one of our handy Cleaning Kits. It includes a cleaning spray, a sanitizing spray, 2 microfiber cum-cleaning rags, and a zippered bag to hold it all. Both sprays are made with natural ingredients, no alcohol, and are scent-free.
Can you run the fabric panel through the washing machine? Technically - yes, but we don’t recommend it.
ORDERING
If you plan to have most of your fun in that one special location in your home that would be perfect for a glory hole, then simply measure the width of that opening and purchase the corresponding PortaGlory: the ORIGINAL PortaGlory for 30”-wide openings, the MAGNUM for 36”-wide openings, or the SLIM for 24”-wide openings.
The tension rods are adjustable and can span openings 28”-42”. The SLIM rods can adjust between 20”-30”.
If you are primarily a traveller and intend to use your PortaGlory in hotels, then we suggest you consider getting a MAGNUM. All doorways in modern hotels are 36”-wide.
SWEET - I WANT A portaglory. 3 sizes? which one do i need?
BUT MY OPENING ISN’T 24”, 30” OR 36”. WHAT THEN?
You have options!
Option A: Tell us the width of your opening, and we’ll cut your panel to fit perfectly. Since every PortaGlory is hand-made to order, it’s easy for us to make all sorts of custom adjustments for you. And - if your custom width is less than 41”-wide, then there is no up-charge!
Option B: Our tension rods adjust plus-or-minus 6” of the standard widths. If you order the size that’s closest in width to your opening, then it will install well. You can cover any unwanted gaps between your panel and wall with an XTRA 8 Panel Extender. This is an extra, separate width of panel that slips onto your rods when needed.
Do you sell replacement parts?
Yes. Yes we do. Email us with your issue, and we’ll figure out whether we are providing you a replacement piece or selling you a replacement piece.
How is my order shipped?
Discreetly. All items from PortaGlory ship either in a plain brown cardboard box or plain envelope. The brand ‘PortaGlory’ does not appear anywhere on the packaging - not even in the return address.

Do you ship internationally?
YES! We have shipped PortaGlorys all over the world.
We include free shipping to everywhere in the USA. Everywhere else will incure an additional shipping fee. When you place your order, you’ll be shown how much you will be charged to ship to you. That covers OUR cost to ship to you. Please be aware of your country’s policies and additional VAT or other fees YOU may be responible for paying in order to receive your package from the USA.

what payment methods do you accept?
We accept all major credit and debit cards, including Visa and Mastercard. We also offer Link by Stripe for fast, secure checkout using your saved payment information. You can also make purchases using your PatPal or Venmo account.

HOW DO YOU PROTECT MY PRIVACY?
Your privacy is important to us. We do not sell or rent your personal information. We only share information when necessary to process and fulfill your order, provide services you request, comply with legal requirements, or as otherwise described in our Privacy Policy.
We use reputable third-party service providers for services such as payment processing and order fulfillment. For additional privacy, orders are shipped in discreet packaging and we use a discreet billing descriptor for eligible payment methods.
How is my order shipped?
Discreetly. All items from PortaGlory ship either in a plain brown cardboard box or plain envelope. The brand ‘PortaGlory’ does not appear anywhere on the packaging - not even in the return address.

what will appear on my credit card statement?
We value your privacy and use discreet billing whenever possible.
Credit card charges will appear on your statement as “PGonline”.
If you choose PayPal or Venmo at checkout, then we have set the billing descriptor to appear as “PGONLINE”. The exact description displayed may vary depending on your payment method and financial institution.
All transactions are securely processed and encrypted.
WILL YOU SEND ME MARKETING MATERIALS AFTER I ORDER?
PortaGlory has an ‘Opt-In’ marketing program that consists exclusively of newsletter-type emails. The maximum frequency of these emails is 1 x monthly.
You’ll receive these emails ONLY if you signed up to receive them, at the email address you provided when signing up. This program is separate from any information you provided when making a purchase.
If you did not actively ‘opt-in’, then you will never receive marketing materials from us.
