The XTRA 8 Panel Extender is an 8”-wide x the length of your PortaGlory panel-long piece of thick, opaque stretch fabric with sewn-in rod pockets at the top and bottom. When you install your PortaGlory in an opening that is wider than the width of your panel, you can slip an XTRA 8 onto one end of your tension rods, and it will cover the gap!

No worries, because you thought ahead and purchased an XTRA 8 Panel Extender, and you always keep it tucked in your carry case along with your PortaGlory. You whip it out, slip it onto one end of the top rod, then the bottom rod, and BOOM! Problem solved.
Nope. The the XTRA 8 is an accessory that you can use along with your PortaGlory. It is an 8”-wide by 70”-long piece of solid fabric. The main glory hole panel and tension rods are not included.
When you install a PortaGlory with the tension rods tight, and you push those rods apart so that the panel is TAUT, our non-stretch panel feels sturdy. It feels correct. It’s the next best thing to an actual wall. A stretchy-fabric panel cannot give you that same sensation. The stretchier the fabric is, the looser and floppier it will feel when installed.
Get yourself a second XTRA 8 and hang it on the other end of the rods! That’s 2 XTRA 8’s flanking your main panel. Just remember that the maximum width of your rods is 41”, so you should never need more than 2 XTRA 8’s.
